Counterfeit Kits for May

I have to say, I am a little in love with these kits! I made them up about a month ago, and am just now getting around to typing up a blog post for them. I loved the Inspiration kits from Studio Calico!
The City of Lights kit:
My "Counterfeit":
A Closer look at the papers:
I was very lucky to have some of the pretty papers in this kit, and some very close substitutes from Webster's Pages. I threw in a Studio Calico stamp, some white chipboard letters, washi tape from Target,Thickers, a partial sheet of Jenni Bowlin butterfly stickers, some "wood frames" and kraft tags that I die cut with my Cricut. I have some twine, brads, and ribbons that I will use if I need to later.
The Versailles kit:
My Counterfeit:
I used some light aqua striped vinyl from Making Memories, a couple of papers from Crate Paper, a yellow paisley print from DCWV's Lemon Flower stack, and a vellum paper from Hot Off The Press (talk about ancient!). The letter stickers are from Nikki Sivvils, I threw in some stamps from American Crafts and Studio Calico, and I die cut a couple of tiny envies with the Cricut Wild Card Cartridge.
Montmartre kit:
My Counterfeit:
The aqua paper is a pretty shimmery floral from Heidi Grace, the pink is from a stack (DCWV, I think), the grid paper is from The Girls Paperie, and the border strips from Pink Paislee's London Market line. I printed the aqua and cream tags from the Twinery on watercolor paper, and the Tone On Tone journaling cards from Creativity Prompt. I included some Dear Lizzy Thickers, a Studio Calico mini stamp, and washi tape from Target and Pink Paislee. I will stamp my own kraft/white journaling spots with these Martha Stewart stamps and white ink.

The Sorbonne Kit:
 My Counterfeit:
The yellow and black papers are from DCWV Lemon Flower stack, the ledger paper is from Basic Grey Basics, and the aqua is from Studio Calico. I also threw in a Hero Arts stamp, some wooden stars, some paper flags, flower sequins, die-cut "wood" buttons, and tiny letter stickers.
The Louvre Kit:
 My Counterfeit:
The papers are an embossed gray woodgrain from Co'ordinations, yellow starburst paper from Webster's Pages, Basic Grey tiny green chevron print, and a sheet of vellum butterflies. I die cut 2 doily masks with my Cricut and SCAL, added in a set of Glitz background stamps, a couple of sets of KI Memories sticker sheets, black chevron tape from Freckled Fawn, die cut "wood" pennant flags, Smash tabs, and a 7Gypsies foldover sticker book.

Other than the main kit, most of these are one or 2 page kits...but I still have a lot to work with, so I hope to be back to scrapping soon!
