And now... For my exciting news!
I was chosen to be a part of Lindsay's Digi-Stamp Design Team! My first Design Team submission, and I got a spot on it! I am excited to show off her product, because her digi-stamps are so cute, and so much fun to use! This card was made using a fairy princess from her Pretty Princess collection, which includes this and three more digistamps for only $4.00! Wow! I colored her with Copics, Bic Markers, and a light purple and white Souffle pens, then added gold Stickles to the magic wand, and Frosted Lace Stickles to her wings.
The digi-stamps are great because you can print them out at whatever size you like, so you get lots of use out of them! For example, underneath my card, you can see the page where I printed out Lindsey's Cute Rain Duck at 8 1/2 x 11, and one of my five year old girls used it for a coloring page (please excuse the somewhat rumpled page, she's only 5, after all!) Expect to see this cute little duck on my blog again soon!
Another fun reason to use digi-stamps- they don't take up your valuable storage space, the way traditional stamps do! Just print out what you want to use, and let it dry for a while, then color away. Easy- Peasy!

Card for Just Magnolia challenge
The flowers and brads are from Making Memories, I used stamps by Magnolia (of course ;) ), and Inkadinkado's Cupcake set. I cut the label shapes with a free svg file I snagged from Sheetload of Shortcuts, one a 1/2 inch larger than the other. The gemstone circle, and the ribbon trim are from Wal Mart. I used Tim Holtz's "Old Paper" and "Walnut Stain" Distress Ink pads. I colored Tilda with colored pencils (good ol' Crayolas!) and added Stickles to the cupcake's sprinkles, and Tilda's bow on her hat.

Svg Antique Car freebie
So, someone mentioned needing an svg file for an antique car, so I thought I would "whip one up". I think I might end up turning it into a father's day card- would make a great guy's b-day card, too.

Happy Cutting-Let me know if you like it!

2 more challenges!
The challenge over at http://dareu2digistamp.blogspot.com/ for this week is to use pink and green (and a digital image, of course!), and the challenge over at http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/ is to make a "fantasy" card.I think that a dragon flying a kite fits the bill! The cute dragon flying a kite is a freebie digistamp from http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/. I cut out the card using a free SCUT file for my Cricut and SCAL (Sure Cuts ALot) that I downloaded from http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/. Gotta love those freebies! The flowers and brads are from a Making Memories Mini Blossom set.

Cute Card Thursday
The challenge today at Cute Card Thursday ( http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ ) was to use bright, tropical colors. And I love pink and green, so this is what I came up with. The Cardstock background for the card is from DCWV Nana's Kids Stack, I used a free scut file and my Cricut Expression with Sure Cuts Alot for a ribbon thread card ( sorry, I am not sure where I got it, so I am not free to share).. I got the strawberry svg file from http://etceteraetcetera.wordpress.com/sure-cuts-a-lot-scal/. I cut the strawberry and topper out 4 times and glued together for a dimensional look. I then cut the berry out in black cardstock on blackout mode, and glued it on to the back. I filled the holes for the seeds with glittery black fabric paint, and chalked around the edges with various chalk inks (first the pinks and greens, then black on the edge). I tied a skinny white satin ribbon from Offray around the stem and attached a little flower from a little pack I got from Target's dollar spot, then added a tiny pink gemstone from K&Co. I threaded a shimmery sheer spring green ribbon I got from Hobby Lobby through the edge of the card, attaching it on the inside with a couple of Glue Dots. I stamped a sentiment from Inkadinkado with black Memento ink on the front. It still looked a little plain to me, so I traced over the words with a hot pink glitter pen by Martha Stewart, then waited till it was dry and stamped again with black ink. Thanks for looking!
