A quick share

Just "popping by" my blog to share a page that I made for the Designs By Diana blogiversary celebration. I used her sketch:

and my April CKCB kit, along with some rediscovered bits from my stash to create this fun page:

The cream shimmer background, pink lace patterned paper, banners for journaling, doily, and pink Thickers were all from my April CKCB kit.I also used some ancient lime green glitter chipboard letters, and some (also ancient) Chatterbox chipboard photo corners, and a piece of kraft cardstock from my scraps.

I'm Baaack!

Ok, so I have been a bit of a bad blogger this month-but I have lots of excuses!First, my little brother got married. Then we got home, and my whole family has had the stomach flu (including me), over the last two weeks, and I have just been beat! Too tired and blah feeling (is that a feeling?) to even turn the computer on! But, we are finally getting better {knock on wood}, so I am dipping my toe back in the pool to take a scrapbook challenge from the CKCB blog: "Use washi tape on a project". I didn't do anything fancy, just used them for long borderstrips (the solid red and blue)-it is one of my favorite ways to use washi tape, although I recently used washi tape instead of ribbon on a present, and it looked soooo cute!Anyhoo, here is my page:
I based the page on a sketch from Artful Delight, using some fun goodies from my April kit, October Afternoon Sasparilla, and Target washi tapes. I pulled some stars and twine from my stash for embellishment.
A couple of close ups:

Thanks for looking!
