I know, some of you are thinking, "already?", but I have decided to (try to) make all of my Christmas cards this year, so I had better get started! Today's sample is made using the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches this week, and a digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, who is sponsoring ICS this week. I started with the Sketchy Cosmos from LSS, colored them with my Copics, added a sprinkle of brown and black Doodlebug flocking to add some soft texture to the center of the open flower, inked the edges with chalk ink by Colorbox, attached it to the top of my patterned paper from Cloud 9 Design, added a scalloped strip I made using my Martha Stewart Simple Scallop punch (which had also been inked with chalk ink), and attached it all to the red textured cardstock base. I stamped the sentiment "Seasons Greetings" from Art Warehouse on a scalloped circle (another Martha Stewart punch) that I punched out of a piece of leftover red cardstock, and added a red dew drop that came with the Cloud 9 Christmas kit.
