Oooops....I'm late getting this up-it totally slipped my mind until i got online this morning! Luckily, I already had my layout photographed! It has been a busy week...the last week of school,so I had to finish up the school scrapbook that I volunteered to make, and wouldn't you know, my car started acting up on Monday, so it is in the shop and has been all week (Arggh!!). Anyway, enough about me, I'm sure you are here for the
Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog hop! We were challenged to counterfeit our favorite manufacturer (or something we have seen on their website) for this blog hop. I chose 2 of my favorites,
Prima and
Websters Pages!I didn't scraplift any particular layout, I was more inspired by the gorgeous products that these manufacturers put out. I did have to cheat a little bit and pull supplies from one or 2 past Counterfeit Kits, and this page was the perfect opportunity to pull out my new Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon. All supplies were from my stash, though (with the exception of the ribbon, which I bought specifically with this layout in mind), so I guess it's ok, right? The black Thicker letters and ZVA flourish swirls were from my May kits, the black swiss dots Bazzill, feathers, black satin (faux Prima) handmade flower, and cream/green Making Memories journaling spot are all from last month's kits, and from my stash, I added a sheet of Websters' Pages cardstock ( I cut a strip out of the center, which I covered with the black swiss dots Bazzill, and flipped it over, so that I was not wasting the gorgeous aqua pattern on the back of this pretty paper), and the Tim Holtz film strip ribbon.
