I'm Baaack!

Ok, so I have been a bit of a bad blogger this month-but I have lots of excuses!First, my little brother got married. Then we got home, and my whole family has had the stomach flu (including me), over the last two weeks, and I have just been beat! Too tired and blah feeling (is that a feeling?) to even turn the computer on! But, we are finally getting better {knock on wood}, so I am dipping my toe back in the pool to take a scrapbook challenge from the CKCB blog: "Use washi tape on a project". I didn't do anything fancy, just used them for long borderstrips (the solid red and blue)-it is one of my favorite ways to use washi tape, although I recently used washi tape instead of ribbon on a present, and it looked soooo cute!Anyhoo, here is my page:
I based the page on a sketch from Artful Delight, using some fun goodies from my April kit, October Afternoon Sasparilla, and Target washi tapes. I pulled some stars and twine from my stash for embellishment.
A couple of close ups:

Thanks for looking!

  3. I'm glad you are back and everyone's feeling better. This page is super fun - great way to showcase that photo. Only I wish you hadn't told me you got the washi tape at Target.

    1. Susanne-the tape comes in a 4 pack for $4-it's the Up and Up brand, and it is in the office supply section-how's that for enabling ;-)

  4. I'm dying to know more about the comic book looking part... It looks like it says my son's name dalton. What did it say and where did you get it?

    1. It does say Dash Dalton, and it is from the October Afternoon Sasparilla collection-I got it from Stop and Scrap (online), but since it is one of their current collections, alot of online stores should have it!
