The Card Sketch:
My Card:
I used the flower stamps from Hampton Arts that I included in my July Counterfeit kit, white ink and embossing powder, scraps from my second June Shimelle Inspired Kit - Stampin' Up Blush Blossom CS, Webster's Pages pp, Grungeboard plaque that I inked and heat embossed before stamping with the sentiment and heat embossing again, Pebbles flower brad, We R Memory Keepers twine and Glitter Brads.
I also did a layout based on their July Layout Sketch:
My Layout:
Close Ups of the Embellies:
Tag made with Webster's Girl Land Stamps (I am in love with the subtle chevron!)
Die Cut tag from my May Kit:A Fun Crepe Paper Ruffle:
Crape Paper pp, yellow Co'Ordinations cs, DCWV pink striped pp, Bazzill Swiss Dots cs, lace scrap, Jolee's bling letters, pink crepe paper, Webster's Pages/Unity Girl Land Stamps, pink chalk ink.
Up Next, a card that I made for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog's first July Challenge:
Challenge #1: This challenge is simple : make a card...or more and send it to Operation Write Home. For this challenge, I would like ONE card to be made from your July kit, but if you want to send more than one, the rest can be made from whatever supplies you have on hand (or even previously made and "saved for someday when I find someone to send it to" cards).
I kind of cheated and made it from scraps from my second June Kit:
Simple, but I think it's pretty and could be used for a variety of occasions!
Supplies used: white cardstock base, The Girls Paperie pp, Bazzill Swiss Dots cs, We R Memory Keepers twine, light green chalk ink, and rosette flower from swap.
The next layout was based on Sketch 213 from Creative Scrappers:
My Layout:
Embellishment Close-Ups:
(love this Tim Holtz Grungeboard, all inked up with Sapphire Distress Ink!)
Thanks for spending some time with me this morning, let me know what you think!
Well...you HAVE been a Crafty McCrafterson. You have a lot of cards and layouts to showcase. The halloween one was really cute.
ReplyDeleteThose operation Write Home cards are such a good idea...yours is super!
Great card and pages! I love the big accordion folded flower on the card. I've never got one to look that perfect! It's gorgeous! And I love the Love tag on the first page and how you did the pictures on the Casting Spells page. Without any border between the pics, it actually give action to them and she looks like she's literally dancing across the page! So awesome!
