Making the Most of Your Memorabilia and Ephemera

Today's challenge at the Counterfeit Kit challenge blog is:" Ephemera Encapsulated"

Choose a little bit of everyday life to incorporate into a project this month. Use it on a layout, in a mini-book or add it to an off the page project!

For this challenge, I chose to use a piece of artwork that my son had made for me in school a few years ago. I had a photo from that Halloween that I had not scrapped, either. I was really quite excited to find this sweet little drawing/picture that my son had made in 2009. It's so funny to me, since he wanted to "be George Strait" for Halloween, and now he won't even listen to country music. Just a sweet capture of that moment in our lives. I love it!

Be sure to link up with the Counterfeit Kit challenge (link in my sidebar) and show us how you incorporate memorabilia and ephemera!

  1. Great to have this on a page, and what a different story it tells today than it would have then!

  2. Memorabilia with their own handwriting on it is so special and fun to look back at. How cool that you saved this piece to match with his photo!
