April layouts...

Just sharing a few layouts that I did with the remainder of my April kit...
Turtle Joy:
For this layout, I was inspired by this weeks' Sketch Inspirations sketch, and I used the Sugar Cookie Glazed Bazzill, green patterned Basic Grey paper, brown damask patterned paper, brown felt Thickers, cream Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers, turtle stamp, Googly Eyes, Making Memories journaling spot, brown scalloped cardstock strip, cream crochet lace, and a few stickers from the Echo Park sticker sheet.
Summer Vacation Memories:
For this layout, I used (from my April Counterfeit Kit):
My homemade "Postage Stamp" paper-made for my kit with paper I die cut w/ my Cricut using Basic Grey Basics paper and Echo Park paper, E-line Orange Primas that I layered and attached with brads, Making Memories travel paper, the tag(I used the backside of the K&Co tag from my kit), brown Thickers fleur-de-lis, green leaf stickers from the Echo Park sticker sheet, a couple of the stamps for the title, along with some of the blue vinyl Thickers, and a strip of the burlap printed patterned paper.

Little Prayers:

Supplies used: White cardstock from my stash, embossed burgundy butterfly cardstock, strip of burlap patterned paper, scrap of crochet lace, a stamp (under the embellished doily), ZVA Creative tiny burgundy roses, an embellished doily that I received in a swap on Two Peas, and a couple of items from my May Kits, the journaling spot, and the brown/amber ZVA Creative bling Swirls.

Milk and Memories:
This layout  was inspired by a sketch from Sketchy Thursday's blog from a few weeks ago. I used the following supplies from my April kit:
Cream shimmer cardstock, brown floral October Afternoon, Light blue cardstock (the back of the SEI polka dot print), Jenni Bowlin journaling spot, Echo Park stickers-the flowers and photo corner, cream vintage lace, dark teal fiber, and Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers for the title.

So Eggtastic:
For this layout, I used: teal glitter cardstock, brown print patterned paper, burlap print patterned paper, brown chipboard Thicker photo corners, Echo Park journaling card, light aqua satin ribbon scrap,  Basic Grey Lemonade sticker, pink fabric Thickers, and the bird was from the sheet of Echo Park stickers, and I added the Googly Eye to it.

So Handsome:
For this paper, I had originally thought that I would use it for a very girly page. But I was playing with photos and the remaining suppllies from my April kit, and that's how this layout came together. I colored it with my Copics, misted the center with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, and Inked the edges with some Martha Stewart pigment inks. I then embellished with turquoise and green Primas, brads, brown chipboard Thicker shapes, turquoise vinyl Thicker letters, 2 green glitter butterflies, and a few pearls from my May Mother's Day Kit. As you can see, I still have a spot for a larger butterfly, which I havent decided how to fill yet, but I will probably just die-cut one.

And a Double-Page Spread, "Pool Party Fun":
Supplies used:
2 Sheets burgundy cardstock, 1 sheet Echo Park patterned paper, light aqua flocked scalloped ribbon, balloon and "Notes" card from the Echo Park journaling card sheet, green swirl, aqua pinked circle, flower, and burgundy butterfly from Echo Park sticker sheet, white vinyl Thickers (see how I used the eight on its side instead of 2 "o"'s?), and pearls from my May Mother's Day kit.

  5. Some beautiful pages there - is the kit finished now. I think I've come to the end of mine in terms of usefulness - there was just too much pink in it!

  7. Wow!!! You are on a roll!! So great to get all these memories documented. What a find with the turtle. No wonder they were sad to let it go. Love that turtle embellishment. :)
