Here is what they had to say:
This month we have decided to use a "different" type of inspiration kit...a DIGITAL kit!!! So much fun! There are so many bits and pieces to this month's kit, it should be really fun to put together and create with.
We have decided to use a kit from http://scraporchard.com/. Here is the link to the digital kit we will be counterfeiting, called Summer Lovin' by Chelle's Creations.
I was excited when I saw it, because I knew that my new collection from Simple Stories, Summer Fresh would be perfect for this months kit, and I was itching to use it!
Here is my kit for August, "Homemade Summer":
A closer look at all of my papers:
It is mostly made up of Simple Stories "Summer Fresh", with a few papers added in from My Mind's Eye, Pink Paislee, We R Memory Keepers, Chatterbox, and some kraft, light blue, and yellow cardstock.
I had a lot of fun embellies in there, too!
An envelope full of kraft journaling spots (from Maya Rd, I think):
Some fun little mini banners from a 2 peas swap:
My collection of bakers twine:Some decorative tapes from Prima and Target:
Some pretty flowers and rosettes:
Some Pinwheels:
A bottle of Mr. Huey's mist:
Pretty buttons from Chatterbox:
Metal, chipboard, and felt bits:
I printed up some digital journaling cards and things from Two Peas, Digital Design Essentials, and CSI: Color, Stories, and Inspiration (and I can't remember where I came across the bingo calendars, but they were all freebies):And topped it all off with a good assortment of letter stickers:
I love my kit and can't wait to start playing with it!

ReplyDeleteLots and lots of lovely stash there to play with
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous - makes we want to jump right in and start playing. I love those Artsylicious buttons - I never remember to throw mine into a kit. Have fun with your kit this month!
ReplyDeleteYou know I always love your kits and this month I'd like you to bundle this up and send it my way. Please. Please. *cue plaintive pleading*
ReplyDeleteSo much great stuff! I will admit - I immediately thought "Summer Fresh," too, but I didn't have any. So I bought some :). I know that's not the intent, but it's just so darn pretty!
ReplyDeleteDrooling over that collection of baker's twine! The "Summer Fresh" collection is perfect! What a perfect combo. Looking forward to seeing your fresh creations.
ReplyDeleteA stunning kit Margie - love all the bakers twine and those Bingo Calendars are ace!
ReplyDeleteYou could give classes in putting together kits, I swear girl! I love that big "Sunshine and Happiness"....is that patterned paper? Your kit is just super awesome! Love your digi printables!

Wow! Bingo cards, banners, rosettes, journal spots...swoon! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteI think you totally captured the feel & energy of the inspiration kit!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you are going to have a lot of fun with this kit! I am totally loving that butterfly banner . . .
ReplyDeleteLove, Love, Love, your kit. I can't wait to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteI love all the handmade embellishments you included! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGood replication of the kit. Really got the feel. The problem though, I am finding with looking at everyone else's kit is that I keep spying things I would like to have and now I want to go shopping!
