A beautiful kit for fall was definitely in order for this month! My notes were to gather purples, teal greens, pinks, buttery yellows, and woodgrains. Up next, I was just looking for patterns that reminded me of fall-acorns, leaves, and a few beautiful florals. I gathered plenty of embellishments for my kit this month; chipboard stickers, glittery newsprint Thickers, tiny word strips and stickers, tags, washi, wood veneer, die cuts, enamel Pop Drops, and a 6x6 paper pad. This is the kit of supplies that I was able to gather from my stash....and I could have made my kit much larger still, this kit is what was left after I eliminated about a third of the stash I had pulled for various reasons. Here is my kit:
And a look at the papers by themselves:
We were also tasked with the challenge of creating an add on kit, with each of the design team members adding an item on to the group. My choice was to make die cut watercolor leaves, inspired by this photo and blog post:
Here is a look at my leaves, that I die cut from watercolor paper:
Now have a cup of coffee or tea and make your way around to the rest of the Master Forgers' kits, as they are sure to inspire!

ReplyDeleteLove that kit. Who makes that distinctive floral paper with the matching chipboard - that's a must have.
ReplyDeleteYou captured the essence of the Cedar Lane collection perfectly. I spy the same "I Love You" script paper that I put in my kit! Did you do a blog makeover? Your header looks fab! Happy Scrapping!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning kit Margie! I love the pretty pinks and oranges and that floral paper and chipboard are really eye-catching too. You've included some really fun embellishments too - I like the gold feathers and the clips and will definitely be back to see your tutorial on the leaves. (The blog looks great too!)

ReplyDeleteThere's a lot to love in this (large) kit! Looks like we all struggled to make it small this time around! I spy lots of leaves which are always a winner in my book and some wonderful colours and patterns. I think you summed up the colour and design of the inspiration kit really well. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove this kit! The floral paper is so pretty--I can't wait to see how you use it! I am also anxiously awaiting the reveal of your watercolor leaves.
