All of the supplies were pulled from my March kit, except one of the Tim Holtz tickets, which I pulled from my stash. Patterned paper is Pink Paislee (orange) and Making Memories (diecut). I added burlap ribbon, and a ruffled burgundy ribbon, an American Crafts glitter button, which I tied with a piece of twine. I used leftover pieces of my homemade orange woodgrain canvas to make the flag and the little orange rosette. Thanks for looking-don't forget to enter my giveaway here .
For the page I am sharing today, I made myself use only my kit, with the exception of the paper scraps that I used to cut out my airplane, the letter stickers, and the white brads. I used the current sketch from the Page Maps blog, the polka dot paper is the back of the Making Memories Battenberg sheet, mounted on the label shaped packaging from the Jenni Bowlin Chipboard buttons, which I also used on the layout, mounted with red baker's twine, along with red Glazed Bazzill, lined Sassafrass paper, a border sticker strip from the Creative Imaginations sheeta Jenni Bowlin journaling spot, and a couple of the Martha Stewart labels. And the best part-I got another great memory recorded!!
The airplane cut out is an svg file from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Up, Up, And Away clip art and svg file set.

The first page was for my daughter, Natalie. I used this awesome digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff "It's A Girl Thing" set, printed twice, colored and layered it with pop dots for dimension.

The second page is for my other twin (or twinkie, as I call them ;-) ), Cecilia. I changed the elements up a bit, but did my best to make the page very similar. My favorite element on this page is the yummy felt ribbon with the tulips sewn on. She wanted the green butterflies, and even punched them out herself!
I have really gotten into paper piecing-this adorable turtle is from http://www.myscrapchick.com/ , the Turtles and Snails mini collection.
I cut the title "Together" using my Cricut and Graphically Speaking, the pink plaque behind it is an svg file I picked up -not sure where. The tree behind that is a digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff 
This post is my entry for the contest on the PageMaps Blog (I LOVE Becky Fleck's maps-they are great for getting rid of scrapper's block! My layout is about my twins' first day of school and the feelings I felt. The journaling reads: "My sweet little girls- I was not quite ready for the emotions I experienced on your first day of school (My first day at home by myself). I thought that I would be happy for the peace and quiet, and I was, but I was not prepared for the sadness I felt. My babies are growing up. No more "morning lovin's" after all the other kids are gone. Now it's on to school, packing your lunches, and homework. (SIGH)"
