New Releases at The ScrapCake
I have been watching all of the new releases coming out, and one of the companies that I am watching is doing a giveaway! Check out the gorgeous new collections released by The ScrapCake:
"My Private Happiness" is my favorite, but I love the soft, muted tones of "One Moment In Time", too!

It's Time for the Master Forger's Blog Hop!
Can you believe that the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog has been going strong for 6 months already? I am so glad that you are joining us for our blog hop this month, and if you make it all the way to the end of this post, I have a giveaway! Here is the challenge we were given for the blog hop:
![]()
I used both of my June kits for this one, along with a sketch from Sketch Inspirations (see side bar for link). The background paper is a sheet of Mango Frost DCWV, the light blue print is Making Memories, and I used the light aqua Bazzill Bling for the circle (cut out by my Cricut), most of the stickers are by Sticko from my Summer add-On, with the exception of the Thicker letters from my Main kit and the chipboard KI stick on label, on which I used one of the Hampton Arts stamps from my Summer kit for the word "Bliss"-since the chipboard was coated, I stamped it with black StaZon ink.I also used a yellow brad from my main kit, and a tag from my May kit leftovers. All in all, I am pretty happy with the way this layout turned out, and it brought back a lovely memory for me!
Here are close ups of the details:

Hop, Crop and Shop!
Hi! Welcome to the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Anniversary blog hop! If you are arriving here from Cheryl's blog, you are on the right track! Wasn't her project fantastic? Make sure you are leaving comments, so you will have as many chances as possible to win one of Lindsay's fantastic stamp sets! We are each giving a WHOLE SET of digistamps away on our blogs! Wow! If you get lost along the way, I have a copy of the links here:
Lindsay Weirich http://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/
Cheryl Gorka DT Coordinator http://shestamps.blogspot.com/
Margie Visnick http://scrappinmargie.blogspot.com/
Jennifer Bliss http://blissfulplace.blogspot.com/
Tamara Bennett http://scrapcationgetaway.blogspot.com/
Karin Martin http://karin-withaniforpaper.blogspot.com/
Rebekah Doak http://reflectionsbyrebekah.blogspot.com/
Lindsay will have a copy on her blog, as well!
Ok, now for my project:

I made this layout using the Winged Things digistamp set,
some yummy Prima papers and flowers, Grungeboard, and papers from C.R. Gibson's Tapestry Ruby Lemonade Collection. The tiny butterflies were made with my Martha Stewart punch and Heidi Swapp gemstones.
Here is a closer look at how I used the digistamp on this page:
I printed the Filled Butterfly stamp out on light blue vellum, and sprinkled clear embossing powder on it right away, and heat embossed it with my heat tool. Then I spritzed the butterfly with Turquoise Blue Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels, and heated it again, because I am too impatient to just "let it dry". I also spritzed the Glimmer Mist on the Grungeboard swirl, dried it, and then inked the embossing and the edges with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass ink pad.
Now, be sure to leave me a comment for a chance to win this awesome digistamp set from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff! If you want a second chance to win, grab the "I'm a Fan of Lindsay's Stamp Stuff" badge
for your blog, and link it to the store here: http://www.mygrafico.com/lindsay-39-s-stamp-stuff/aff_100.html
It's so easy, just copy and paste! Then, come back and leave me a comment to let me know that you did, for a second chance to win! And be sure to drop by our Crop Room on MyGraphico , because Lindsay will be giving away some freebies there for everyone, that will only be available for the 3 days of the crop. There are also lots of challenges and fun, something for everyone!
And, last but not least, be sure to stop by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Store to stock up, because she has everything on a FANTASTIC Anniversary Special, 50% off during the Hop, Shop, and Crop, so don't miss out! And if you happen to win a set that you already bought, she will let you pick another one, isn't that cool? Love her!
Next stop on the hop is Jennifer, go see what she has created for you! And come back tomorrow, I have another "Lindsay project", and I will also have a list posted for tomorrow's hop links!
