It's Time for the Master Forger's Blog Hop!

Oooops....I'm late getting this up-it totally slipped my mind until i got online this morning! Luckily, I already had my layout photographed! It has been a busy week...the last week of school,so I had to finish up the school scrapbook that I volunteered to make, and wouldn't you know, my car started acting up on Monday, so it is in the shop and has been all week (Arggh!!). Anyway, enough about me, I'm sure you are here for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog hop! We were challenged to counterfeit our favorite manufacturer (or something we have seen on their website) for this blog hop. I chose 2 of my favorites, Prima and Websters Pages!I didn't scraplift any particular layout, I was more inspired by the gorgeous products that these manufacturers put out. I did have to cheat a little bit and pull supplies from one or 2 past Counterfeit Kits, and this page was the perfect opportunity to pull out my new Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon. All supplies were from my stash, though (with the exception of the ribbon, which I bought specifically with this layout in mind), so I guess it's ok, right? The black Thicker letters and ZVA flourish swirls were from my May kits, the black swiss dots Bazzill, feathers, black satin (faux Prima) handmade flower, and cream/green Making Memories journaling spot are all from last month's kits, and from my stash, I added a sheet of Websters' Pages cardstock ( I cut a strip out of the center, which I covered with the black swiss dots Bazzill, and flipped it over, so that I was not wasting the gorgeous aqua pattern on the back of this pretty paper), and the Tim Holtz film strip ribbon.

Strawberry Festival Fun

Today, I am sharing a layout with you that I made with my Counterfeit Kit for May. I was inspired by sketch 220 from Sketch Inspirations.
The sketch:

My layout, "Festival Fun":

For this layout I used light green cardstock,  and red shaped Bazzill from my "boy" kit for this month, along with a red tag, Cosmo Cricket strawberry card. and Basic Grey letter stickers from my main kit, a wooden button and pearls from my Mother/Daughter Memories kit, and a few bits and pieces from past kits; the green and white journaling sheet from Making Memories, the cream satin ribbon, the corrugated paper, and the tiny flowers. Thanks for looking, be sure to drop by the Counterfeit Kit blog and see what we are doing over there!

April layouts...

Just sharing a few layouts that I did with the remainder of my April kit...
Turtle Joy:
For this layout, I was inspired by this weeks' Sketch Inspirations sketch, and I used the Sugar Cookie Glazed Bazzill, green patterned Basic Grey paper, brown damask patterned paper, brown felt Thickers, cream Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers, turtle stamp, Googly Eyes, Making Memories journaling spot, brown scalloped cardstock strip, cream crochet lace, and a few stickers from the Echo Park sticker sheet.
Summer Vacation Memories:
For this layout, I used (from my April Counterfeit Kit):
My homemade "Postage Stamp" paper-made for my kit with paper I die cut w/ my Cricut using Basic Grey Basics paper and Echo Park paper, E-line Orange Primas that I layered and attached with brads, Making Memories travel paper, the tag(I used the backside of the K&Co tag from my kit), brown Thickers fleur-de-lis, green leaf stickers from the Echo Park sticker sheet, a couple of the stamps for the title, along with some of the blue vinyl Thickers, and a strip of the burlap printed patterned paper.

Little Prayers:

Supplies used: White cardstock from my stash, embossed burgundy butterfly cardstock, strip of burlap patterned paper, scrap of crochet lace, a stamp (under the embellished doily), ZVA Creative tiny burgundy roses, an embellished doily that I received in a swap on Two Peas, and a couple of items from my May Kits, the journaling spot, and the brown/amber ZVA Creative bling Swirls.

Milk and Memories:
This layout  was inspired by a sketch from Sketchy Thursday's blog from a few weeks ago. I used the following supplies from my April kit:
Cream shimmer cardstock, brown floral October Afternoon, Light blue cardstock (the back of the SEI polka dot print), Jenni Bowlin journaling spot, Echo Park stickers-the flowers and photo corner, cream vintage lace, dark teal fiber, and Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type stickers for the title.

So Eggtastic:
For this layout, I used: teal glitter cardstock, brown print patterned paper, burlap print patterned paper, brown chipboard Thicker photo corners, Echo Park journaling card, light aqua satin ribbon scrap,  Basic Grey Lemonade sticker, pink fabric Thickers, and the bird was from the sheet of Echo Park stickers, and I added the Googly Eye to it.

So Handsome:
For this paper, I had originally thought that I would use it for a very girly page. But I was playing with photos and the remaining suppllies from my April kit, and that's how this layout came together. I colored it with my Copics, misted the center with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, and Inked the edges with some Martha Stewart pigment inks. I then embellished with turquoise and green Primas, brads, brown chipboard Thicker shapes, turquoise vinyl Thicker letters, 2 green glitter butterflies, and a few pearls from my May Mother's Day Kit. As you can see, I still have a spot for a larger butterfly, which I havent decided how to fill yet, but I will probably just die-cut one.

And a Double-Page Spread, "Pool Party Fun":
Supplies used:
2 Sheets burgundy cardstock, 1 sheet Echo Park patterned paper, light aqua flocked scalloped ribbon, balloon and "Notes" card from the Echo Park journaling card sheet, green swirl, aqua pinked circle, flower, and burgundy butterfly from Echo Park sticker sheet, white vinyl Thickers (see how I used the eight on its side instead of 2 "o"'s?), and pearls from my May Mother's Day kit.
