A Master Forger's List Swap and a sketch from Basic Grey

We were challenged by Beth, Meridy, and Crystal from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog to swap lists with each other, and make a page based on at least five of the other person's favorite things to scrap with. I was excited when Lisa's name was drawn to give me a list, I love her style!
Here is the list she gave me to work with:

1. White cardstock
(Got it!)

2.  patterned paper with a gorgeous mix of soft aqua and coral colours - perfect for summer layouts - and an on trend design. Something like hot air balloons, clouds, maps or chevrons. My favourite right now is BasicGrey's What's Up.
(I used Basic Grey Paper Cottage)

3.  A chipboard alpha. I just purchased an Amy Tangerine Thickers alpha - Goodness in white and I love that one too

(I used a pink Making Memories chipboard alpha)

4.  Some pearls or bling. Loving this yellow pearl swirl from Lost and Found by My Mind's Eye

(I added pearls to some of the flower centers)

5.  Flair buttons/badges. I don't know if you know how much I love maps and anything with maps on them so these badges from Studio Calico are high on my list right now
( I used a BG wooden button from the Paper Cottage collection)

6.  My go-to supply on my table is white or cream twine. I buy it at the haberdashery and love it. I use it on everything. Or kitchen string :-)
(I used it to tie the center of the button, and to make the banner)

7.  Stick pins - I have a collection of assorted pins to use
(I used a couple of pretty vintage stick pins that I received from a swap on 2 Peas)

8.  Tape of some sort. My collection is growing!
( I used washi tape to make the mini banner, and under the title)

9.  Assorted die cut shapes - I have this bag from the What's Up collection but it could be die cuts in any form.

(I die cut the borders from scraps with my Cricut and SCAL)

10.A stamp or stamped image of some sort. I'm including this as it's something I have to remind myself to do more often! I have a small but growing collection of stamps but I forget to use them! :-)

(I used Basic Grey stamps for the leaf flourish and the cream colored flower, and heat embossed both for texture)

I based it on this week's sketch from Basic Grey:

A closer look at the embellies and stamping:

All of the patterned papers are from a 6x6 Paper Cottage pad, the flowers are all handcut from the pad as well, with the exception of the cream flower.

Challenged by 2Peas...

I have been a member at 2Peas In a Bucket for forever, so I had a blast getting caught up in all of the excitement of CHA last week! I participated in most of the chats (even won a prize, yahoo!), watched all of the new release videos, and even got the chance to participate in a few of the challenges! I did a CHA Favorites and Trends board for the Pinterest challenge, and I made a few layouts for some of the scrappy challenges(using my CKC kit for July, of course!).
First, I combined challenges #1 (Color Combo with Marcy):
And Challenge #8, "Combine 3 Trends". The trends I incorporated were chevrons, woodgrain, and twine.
Here is my layout, "Cool Treats":

Close-ups of the embellies:

I used sketch #218 from Creative Scrappers for this page:
(Loved this sketch, so much fun! Come to think of it, I incorporated another trend, banners, as well!)

The next page I made was for Challenge #2, Make a Fall Themed Project:

I used this sketch from Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits:

And, here is my layout, "Thanksgiving Together":
A Closer look at the stamping and handcut embellies:

Thanks for stopping in with me this morning, I have to run now since I have a new scrappy project in the works! Let me know what you think! Did you enjoy all the hustle and bustle from CHA last week, or was it too much for you?

Crafty McCrafterson

Ok,  so I am feeling a little silly this morning! But I really do have some crafty fun to share today! First up, my crafty creations for this month's Artful Delight sketches!
The Card Sketch:
My Card:

I used the flower stamps from Hampton Arts that I included in my July Counterfeit kit, white ink and embossing powder, scraps from my second June Shimelle Inspired Kit - Stampin' Up Blush Blossom CS, Webster's Pages pp, Grungeboard plaque that I inked and heat embossed before stamping with the sentiment and heat embossing again, Pebbles flower brad, We R Memory Keepers twine and Glitter Brads.

I also did a layout based on their July Layout Sketch:

My Layout:

Close Ups of the Embellies:

Tag made with Webster's Girl Land Stamps (I am in love with the subtle chevron!)
Die Cut tag from my May Kit:
 A Fun Crepe Paper Ruffle:

Supplies used:
Crape Paper pp, yellow Co'Ordinations cs, DCWV pink striped pp, Bazzill Swiss Dots cs, lace scrap, Jolee's bling letters, pink crepe paper, Webster's Pages/Unity Girl Land Stamps, pink chalk ink.

Up Next, a card that I made for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog's first July Challenge:

Challenge #1: This challenge is simple : make a card...or more and send it to Operation Write Home. For this challenge, I would like ONE card to be made from your July kit, but if you want to send more than one, the rest can be made from whatever supplies you have on hand (or even previously made and "saved for someday when I find someone to send it to" cards).

I kind of cheated and made it from scraps from my second June Kit:
Simple, but I think it's pretty and could be used for a variety of occasions!
Supplies used: white cardstock base, The Girls Paperie pp, Bazzill Swiss Dots cs, We R Memory Keepers twine, light green chalk ink, and rosette flower from swap.
The next layout was based on Sketch 213 from Creative Scrappers:

My Layout:

Embellishment Close-Ups:

Supplies used: Crape Paper Pretty Party pp, turquoise Co'Ordinations cs, washi/paper tapes from Target, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type letter stickers, The Girls Paperie chipboard letters, and Tim Holtz Grungeboard.

Thanks for spending some time with me this morning, let me know what you think!
