This week, I was very inspired by Lindsay's Birds And Branches Digistamp set, so I decided to join in on several challenges. The first card, I used the Cute bird Stamp, and a Happy Birthday stamp by Ink It. The scalloped circle behind the bird was cut with my Cricut and Storybook cartridge, and embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The ivory circle was punched out, inked and stamped w/Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The butterfly is a punch by Martha Stewart. I did this card for the sketch challenge at Pagemaps blog, and butterfly for Flutterby Wednesdays, and the color combo challenge (light orange, dark brown, and ivory) at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
This is my favorite card that I made tonight. I made this card based on the sketch this week at 2Sketches4You, and follows the "O"ne Paper challenge from ABC Challenges. the digi is from the Birds And Branches Collection, and the sentiment is last weeks' freebie from Lindsay's blog. I punched it out and inked the edges with chalk ink by Martha Stewart. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, and the patterned paper is some ancient Hot Off The Press from my stash.
The third card was inspired by the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday -it didn't come out exactly like the sketch, but that's what I started with. The shimmery navy cardstock frame is by Wasau Paper, cut out using an svg file from Mujka design at MyGrafico, one more fab birdhouse from the Birds and Branches collection, some sheer red ribbon, and a Birthday sentiment from Making Memories. Thanks for for looking, now head on over to Lindsay and the other designers' blogs, to see what goodies they have for you today!

A Pretty Pink Card
Well, I love pink, so when I saw the first challenge at I Love Digi Challenges was to "Think Pink", I just KNEW it was right up my alley! I used this Cherry Blossom digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Birds and Branches Collection (so fresh and pretty-makes me feel like spring!). I combined this color inspiration with this week's sketch from CPS Challenge Blog for a girly card that can be used for birthday, thank you, you name it!

Back 2 school layout
I made this layout for a challenge over at Scrap and Stamp Saturday. The Library Card, Stack of Books, and Bingo Card are all digistamps and can be found at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff and on her blog . I also used cardstock, Patterned Cardstock from Die Cuts With A View Grade School Stack, which I cut with my Cricut and SCAL. Topped it off with a smidge of journaling, some buttons, and a couple of itty bitty Studio G stamps, and some rick rack. Thanks for looking!

A Springy Card...
Today's card was made using this week's awesome sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. There's nothing like a sketch to get you going when the mojo just isn't flowing! I have been fighting a cold (Grrrr... Mom just doesn't have time to be sick!), so it was a struggle for me to get it together this week. But the sketch gave me a boost, and I used a digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff-she put this new set out just this week and I am having so much fun coloring ALL of these fun digis, because they make me think spring, and I am so ready for it! This awesome new set is the Bird Branch set, and you can find it HERE. For the card base, I used Lindsay's Shabby Houndstooth light blue digipaper. Now hop on over to Lindsay's blog( for a FANTASTIC freebie*hint* that goes perfectly with the new Birds and Branches set), then the other girls' blogs, because they have some more eye candy for you!

Cute Cupcake Valentines
I was excited when I was asked to try out these cupcake wrappers-And they were so easy with my Crciut and SCAL! I Used my pink Cricut Sophisticates marker to "cut" the pink cardstock first, then cut with the blade. The first one has some of my favorite Valentine paper this year, MME Love Nest by Carina Gardener, cut on blackout shadow at 2. The white one was cut out of white shimmer cardstock by Wasau paper. My girls loved these! You can pick up these cupcake wrappers HERE

Cards for Challenges
Hi, everyone! Well, it’s time! Have you been putting off those Valentines until the last minute? Well, Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff is having a sale, so now’s the time! She’s running a sale on all of her holiday stamps right now! Run over to her store and grab some while they’re on sale! Now here is a little inspiration for you:
This card was made using the doily heart from the Love Grows Here digistamp collection. I used this week’s sketch from Card Positioning Systems, and took the inspiration challenges from Cupcake Crafts and Cute Card Thursday challenges. The challenge at Cupcake Crafts this week is to use red and white all over.Cute Card Thursday's challenge for this week is "Spots and Dots". The card base is just plain white cardstock that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder, topped off with a scrap of red and white polka dot cardstock (I think from American Crafts), white lace strip from my grandmas’s sewing basket, and the digistamp from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff that I colored with Copics, stitched with red and white baker’s twine, and used a tiny hole punch for the details, and popped it up with foam Pop Dots.
The second card is a birthday card I made for my sister-in-law using this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. The cupcake paper is from Creative Imaginations, topped with a scrap of a lavender/pink cardstock that I ran through the Cuttlebug with my D’vine Swirls folder, topped with some sheer embroidered white ribbon that has been in my stash forever, and topped with Lindsay’s All Around phrases digistamp, with one of the cupcakes from her Sweet Stuff collection centered in it. I cut the circle out with my Cricut, Plantain Schoolbook cartridge, and the center point function. Then I colored, Stickled and glittered it to my hearts content (nothing is as satisfying as a pretty, sparkly cupcake, lol). Yum-No calorie sweetness!

Recipe Swap with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff
This week, I needed to make 6x6 recipe pages for a swap that I am participating in. So, I started with these recipe card digistamps from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff (the recipe card and "dessert" circle). I made this page based on the sketch this week from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The patterned paper is Basic Grey Eva Collection, ribbon is Offray, and I made the ruffle by pinch pleating lightweight maroon cardstock in a circle, hot glueing to a punched circle, then hot glueing the dessert circle (which I punched w/ my Martha Stewart scallop circle punch) on top. I then cut the cake image from the From My Kitchen Cart at 3/4 inch from lavendar cardstock, then the layers from chocolate brown cardstock. I glued that all together, then glued it to the rosette before adding Stickles to the cake for frosting and the cake stand. Thanks for looking, now head on over to the rest of the DT's blogs for tons of inspiration and eye candy!

Testing, testing, 1,2,3...
When the some of the fabulous designers from MyGraphico asked us to test some svg files, I was more than happy to oblige! This adorable little owl is from the Love is in the Air set (The whole set is too cute for words, check it out!). It made a cute little valentine card! I cut the card and circle topper with SCAL, embossed the topper with the Cuttlebug Textile Embossing folder, added ribbon from my stash, and embossed the owl (the brown part), and dressed the rest of the owl up with chalk inks and puff paint. The other file I tested was this Cute Train Set. I thought it worked perfectly for this picture from my son's 1st birthday party. The papers are Basic Grey Cupcake, I used Doodlebug Frills, accented the diecuts with Copics and a White Uniball Signo (the BEST white pen I've found), and I embossed the present with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.

I have the BEST Hubby EVER!
I have to say, I have the BEST hubby! Yesterday, we stopped by Wal Mart at just the right time...they were marking EVERYTHING in the clearance aisle WAY DOWN-like, almost everything in the picture was less than a dollar-and he just kept tossing stuff in the buggy! He kept saying, "Do you have one of these?" And the YourStory(It was marked down from 99.95 to 30.00)... I didn't even ask! He just said, "Go on, get it if you want it". Love you, baby!
