When I was little, one of my favorite things to do when it snowed was to make "Snow Angels" (and Snow Cream!yum!) My kiddos aren't too different-they love the same things! I took a card sketch from Simon Says Stamp, and loosely followed it to make this page:
Sketch:
My layout:
Basic Grey Blitzen "Jack Frost", Bazzil Tawny cardstock, the blue and white "medallion" , I fussy cut from the GCD Studios Sofisticated Frost paper, large chipboard snowflake, white paper doily, Tim Holtz tissue tape, Jolee's letter stickers, and some ancient white letter stickers from my stash, and a Scenic Route journaling spot.
Beautiful page Margie, such gorgeous papers and colours and the photos are lovely, that brings back memories, mind you my 19 year old daughter still makes snow angels now lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp for our sketch challenge

I love all the layered lacey papers here - really beautiful! That was a good snow angel too :)
ReplyDeleteLove your layers! Great use of that doily!! Cute. I need to get my kids to make some SAND angels as there won't be any snow angels in southern GA. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool - or should I say cold!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous patterns and papers - lovely page!
