Wow-I just learned something about myself, and I may have discovered more about my scrapping style! I realized by looking through my layouts that the ones I like the best are patterned cardstock backgrounds, with a complimentary pattern or 2, solid colored cardstock, and embellishment clusters.
Your style is wonderful and I would describe it pretty much the same way - adding that you like bold short titles, too. Here's to 2012!
ReplyDeletea wonderful selection of layouts here - all very distinctive! Wishing you a good 2012.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages - you use pattern really well. It's interesting that it has helped to define your style - I may have to have a go myself!
ReplyDeleteMargie! Wow, you had a great crafy year :) Your layouts are so beautiful (as are the kids ;) ) and I'm hope to do some scrapping myself this year. I'm woefully behind! Great tag line up as well, I just can't seem to make a decent tag, why is that? LOL! Anyway, happy 2012!
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful los there, and an interesting exercise to discover your style and what you like. I might just play along.
ReplyDeleteI love your style! I also love patterned paper backgrounds. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThere are some lovely LOs there. I have just done a similar exercise myself (although the post won't be up until !0th Jan) and I am really struggling to define my style.
