You should have come here from Tara's blog.
Here's a look back at my August Kit:
And a couple of pages that I have made with the kit so far;
First, a new page in response to challenge #1, "Happy Sandcastle Day", as the cork paper reminds me of sand, and what could be more indicative of childhood than back to school memories, with last year's back to school photo of my kiddos:
And some detail shots:
And, of course the page that I made for Challenge#3, "Sounds foreign to me":
Thanks for stopping by, and now you should hop over to Tina's blog ...

That first page is so pretty - all those lovely soft colours and layers.d Your kit was really gorgeous and I could have used it all up myself :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the back-to-school page--especially the patterned paper with the notebook edge--very cute!
ReplyDeleteBoth are such beautiful layouts and I especially love the first one! The photos of back to school was perfect and beautifully scrapped - love the cork paper background and the pink pony paper ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat pages Margie! The background on that first one reminds me of an old bulletin board, just perfect for a back-to-school page.
ReplyDeleteExtremely pretty pages. Your kit is so yummy.In both cases your background paper was well suited.
ReplyDeleteThese are both gorgeous. Love that you have cork and vellum and gold glitter all on the first, and that floral paper on the second is swoonworthy and perfectly accented with that diecut.
ReplyDeleteI spy your pink pony paper! ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa about how pretty your kit was this month.
I love that photo of your kiddos with all that school paper background - great job
