August 2016 Counterfeit Kit Challenge Member's Blog Hop

"Welcome to my part of the CKCB Members' Blog Hop.
You should have come here from Tara's blog.
Here's a look back at my August Kit:

And a couple of pages that I have made with the kit so far;

First, a new page in response to challenge #1, "Happy Sandcastle Day", as the cork paper reminds me of sand, and what could be more indicative of childhood than back to school memories, with last year's back to school photo of my kiddos:

And some detail shots:

And, of course the page that I made for Challenge#3, "Sounds foreign to me":

I am loving the pages that are resulting from this kit, and can't wait until I get a bit more time to play with it this weekend.

Thanks for stopping by, and now you should hop over to Tina's blog ...

Here's the list of blogs that are participating in Today's blog hop:

Don't forget to leave me a comment to let me know you were here and happy hopping!"

  4. Great pages Margie! The background on that first one reminds me of an old bulletin board, just perfect for a back-to-school page.

  6. These are both gorgeous. Love that you have cork and vellum and gold glitter all on the first, and that floral paper on the second is swoonworthy and perfectly accented with that diecut.
