In like a lion...Out like a lamb? Welcome March 2018!

Well, March is certainly coming in like a lion in my part of the world. We've had lots and lots of  rain, to the point of flash flooding and roads being closed in my area, and it's still raining as I type this! Hoping that soon the rains will subcede, and the sun will come out to dry up my soggy state. But I was quite happy to lift my spirits with a fresh kit to scrap with. This is the kit that Susan made up for us to scraplift:
I notice a few things about her kit right away. The Blick and white stripe, multicolor stripe, lots of polka dot prints, and a random selection of die cuts, bakers twine, black and white washi, the large wood veneer, puffy hearts, a sheet of stickers, and a sheet of partially used letter stickers. Here is my take on the inspiration kit:

I am also playing along with Shimelle's Clear the Desk class, And this is the first set of supplies that I collected for it:
Come back tomorrow, and I will have one more layout that I have created from my February kit!

Here is the blog hop list to see everyone's kits this month:

  1. I could have some fun with your kit! In fact, I see several pieces of paper in your kit that I have in my stash...I many have to go back through my stash and make me an "add-on" kit! Looking forward to seeing what you create!

  7. I'm interested that you have so many dots and spots in your kit! I had to stop myself because I noticed that almost all my papers were spotty! I changed a few out. Your kit is great and one I could use. I nearly joined the Shimelle class - I still might sign up (late) - seeing all the products getting used up during LOAD was so motivating!

  8. That looks like a really good mix of stash in your kit. I'm going to have to check out the Shimelle class, I keep hearing about it ... we're all hoarders aren't we, but Happy Hoarders I think :o)
