Halloween Treats...

Today, I am sharing an easy peasy Halloween goody bag and sprinkle set using Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Vintage Halloween Labels (my current favorite set-I keep finding tons of different ways to use it!!). I started with a plain kraft paper gift bag. I spritzed it with Truffle Shimmerz, then dabbed it with a paper towels. I printed a label from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Vintage Halloween Labels at about 6-7 inches (they blow up nicely, by the way). I just printed on a pumpkin colored cardstock, and cut it out. After that, I put double stick tape on the back of the label and attached black tulle, twisting and ruffling as I went. I then put quick-dry Tacky glue all over the back, with Glue Dots in the corners for extra hold. A bow on the handle, and then I am ready to start stuffing it with goodies and treats!
After I made the bag, I found these awesome sprinkles in test tubes, so I had to make a label to match (also from Lindsay's Vintage Halloween Labels). I printed on cream cardstock, used pumpkin chalk ink to color the label, colored the witch with my copics, and coated the crystal ball with Glossy Accents and Martha Stewart marble glitter for a fabulous sparkle. The challenges I am entering this into are:
Lots of Halloween Challenges this week, wow!! Thanks for visiting with me today, have a "spooktacacular" day! And if you have a minute, stop by Lindsay's blog for her weekly freebie, and the rest of the LSS dt for more inspiration!

  30. I can't pick a favorite between these two because I really like both - the bag is a lot of fun with the tulle and the label - I think spritzing the bag to shimmer is a great idea and just adds that extra little something that pulls all the other elements together and makes it fabulous! The label for the sprinkles is fantastic too, I think the idea of embellishing the crystal ball is another one of those extra special touches that ups the wow factor.

Thank you for participating with us at Opus Gluei - I hope you come back and consider upcoming themes!
