Two new cards to share...

I am frantically trying to finish making Christmas cards to send out, so I sought out some challenges to help me with a little inspiration. The first challenge I took was with Sketch Saturday. I made the navy blue card topper out of Wasau shimmer paper, then, using my Winter Woodland cart, cut the bird (#3) out of a scrap of white cardstock, a snowflake (#4) out of clear acetate, and the "Peace tag" out of silver glitter cardstock by DCWV, and out of white cardstock using the shift function. I accented it with some sheer white ribbon with silver snowflakes from my stash. The second card I did, I used Card Patterns sketch 44, and flipped it on its side. The penguin is a cute digistamp from Pollycraft, and I used up some paper scraps for this card. I also added some gemstones that I colored with my red Bic Mark-it pens. Thanks for looking!

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Thursday

For today's Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Post, we were challenged to use this sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches , since Lindsay is sponsoring it this week and giving away 10 digistamps to the winner!

Since I am trying to get as many layouts done as possible for the month of July, I thought I would adapt the sketch for a scrapbook page instead of a card this week. I loved the Layered Waterlily digistamp, and I thought it would go perfectly with the froggy I paper pieced for this layout. I colored it mostly with Bic Mark-Its, and used my Copic colorless blender over the whole thing. The patterned paper is by Tinkering Ink (Blur Collection-perfect for little boy Layouts.

Now head on over to the other designers blogs to see what they have to show you today (one of them has an awesome free digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff for you):
And don't forget, for the entire month of July, Lindsay has a sale, spend $5, get a free digistamp of your choice. Go check it out!

A Sweet, Happy Birthday

Today's post is a card that I did for Mojo Monday and the Digital Tuesday Challenge. The sketch I used was this week's fabulous Mojo Monday sketch, and the challenge at Digital Tuesday was to make a "Sweet Birthday" project. So I used this Cake digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff for the perfect birthday "sweet treat"-for only $1.00! And when you spend $5.00 in July, You get a free digistamp! I colored it with my Bic Mark-Its,and a few Copics for blending, and Stickles for sprinkles and the cherry. I cut the scalloped circle and mat out with my Cricut, and stamped the sentiment from a Studio G Stamp, and inked the edges.
Now head on over to the other designer's blogs (one of them does have free digistamp for you!):

Another Pagemaps LO...

Becky is running another fabulous LO sketch contest over at her blog: I have really gotten into paper piecing-this adorable turtle is from http://www.myscrapchick.com/ , the Turtles and Snails mini collection.
I cut the title "Together" using my Cricut and Graphically Speaking, the pink plaque behind it is an svg file I picked up -not sure where. The tree behind that is a digistamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff
And it can be found here
Which reminds me....If you like digistamps, and you like free stuff, be sure to check back here on Thursday morning (Hint, hint)! Digistamps are great for scrapbooking and cardmaking-and they can be used over and over!
